The Doon School Entrance Exam
The Doon School admission procedure will be completed in 2 stages: Stage I and Stage II.
Stage I is the written exam that will be conducted in the major metropolitan cities in India such as Dehradun, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Lucknow, Jaipur, Hyderabad, etc. The written exam will have 4 subjects: English, Maths, Science and Reasoning. Further, Reasoning is divided into two sections: Case study and Psychometric test. This will be a subjective paper.
After clearing the Stage I, you will be called for Stage II of the examination.
Stage II includes subject-wise interviews and GD session each of 15-20 mins which are generally taken by school prefects and subjective teachers.
In the later part of this stage, a personal interview is taken by the headmaster. The interview will be held in the month of December at the school premises and in some selected cities such as Kolkata, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, etc.
