Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is a great school that caters to the gifted students of India. They are run by the NVS (Navodaya Vidhyalaya Samiti) that is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Human Resources and Development. Entrance Exam for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission 2023 of Each JNV has provisions for a full-fledged campus with classrooms, dormitories, playgrounds, and other infrastructural facilities.
They produce alumni in almost all fields including doctors, engineers, Civil servants, etc. JNVs are co-educational and fully residential schools affiliated to C.B.S.E. with classes from VI to XII. Their main objective is to find talented children from rural India and provide them with an education that is equivalent to the best residential schools.
With a vision to bring out the best of rural talent, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya began their unique experiment which is unparalleled in the chronicles of school education in India as well as elsewhere. They are focused on their objective of doing all such things that are considered necessary and conducive to the attainment of all objects of the society.
The aim of JNVs is to develop competencies among students in both, scholastic and non-scholastic areas of learning leading to effective personality development of each student. They use innovative teaching process, optimum use of library and laboratories, use of ICT in classrooms, counseling, and motivational sessions. Moreover, JNVs teach three languages –English, Hindi, and Regional language.
For admissions to JNVs, a student needs to pass the Jawahar Navodaya Vidhyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission 2023. This test for class VI is conducted all over India to select 80 most praiseworthy students for each JNV. It is conducted every year in three phases. Students can apply only once during their class V. Moreover, to fill up the vacant seats in Class IX if any, a selection test is conducted for the same. The total number of vacant seats available in each JNV is notified in the local newspapers by the particular JNV every year.

Therefore, for this exam, a candidate also needs to give importance to his/her regional language while preparing for the test.
There is very high competition for JNV judging from the number of candidates that apply for it every year. Due to rising competition, the JNVST has become more competitive. Therefore, a candidate must constantly practice the topics of the exam.
