What is the admission process for Rishi Valley School?

The admission process at Rishi Valley School is unlike most boarding school processes in India. It is not designed to find the highest scorers. It is designed to identify children who will genuinely thrive in a school built around self-inquiry, freedom from conditioning, and genuine engagement with learning.
The process runs in three stages.
| First | Parents submit a completed application form to the school office by 1 December, along with the applicable fees. Application forms are available through the school’s official website. |
| Second | A Selection Committee reviews all forms in early January and produces a shortlist of candidates called for written tests and a personal interaction. Being shortlisted does not guarantee admission. |
| Third | Shortlisted candidates appear for written tests in English and Mathematics only, followed by a personal interaction. Parents or guardians must be present at the interaction. Admission offers are made in early April. The new academic session begins in June. |
Registration does not guarantee admission. The school’s decision is final.
