What curriculum does Woodstock School follow — CBSE or IB?

Neither. This is one of the most important things for Indian families to understand before applying to Woodstock School.
Woodstock School is not affiliated with CBSE or CISCE. Nor is it a purely IB school. It follows the American High School Diploma as its primary academic credential, and is simultaneously an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, offering both the Middle Years Programme (MYP) in Grades 6 to 10 and the Diploma Programme (DP) in Grades 11 and 12.
In the senior school, students choose from three diploma pathways: the US Diploma together with the full IB Diploma, the US Diploma with selected IB courses, or the IB Diploma only. This flexibility is one of the programme’s greatest strengths. Students are not forced into a single academic pathway.
The school’s American diploma has been fully accredited by the Middle States Association since 1959, making Woodstock the first school in Asia to hold this accreditation. The school received IB certification in May 2019. Both credentials are widely recognised by universities in the United States, the United Kingdom, and many other countries.
