National Talent Search Examination is known as NTSE is short. It is a scholarship program for the students of 10th standard. It is a state and national level examination conducted by NCERT every year to select the best candidates for a scholarship to pursue their higher educations. The meritorious candidates are selected based on a two-phase screening test. The applications have been submitted for the NTSE examination in October 2020. The stage I examination has been completed in December 2020for all the states and union territories. Now the students are waiting for the result declaration of the Stage I examination and the examination to be held for the Stage II exam. There are three ways to apply for National Talent Search Examination. The students can choose any one of these options as per their comfort and priority for the NTSE application.
The students are introduced to NTSE at their respective schools. The school takes the responsibility for the application form of NTSE. The schools distribute the application forms and also guide the students in filling up the forms. After this, the schools submit the forms to the Liaison’s office.
The application forms can also be obtained from the Liaison Office at the respective states or Union Territories. You have to fill the form and submit it at the Liaison’s Office on or before the due date.
In the online process, the candidates have to visit the official website and click on “Apply for National Talent Search Examination”. You can download the application form by visiting the official website. Fill up the form completely entering all genuine details. After that, you also have to get the signature of your school principal.
Make sure you pay the application fee in cash in name of the State Liaison Office (the fee may vary from state to state). At last, the application form has to be submitted to the respective Liaison Office.

Examination Syllabus of NTSE
There will be three subjects in the examination- Science, Mathematics and Social Science. There is no particular syllabus for NTSE prescribed by NCERT. However, the questions will be based on 9th and 10th standard levels. Hence, you need to focus on the syllabus which you have already studied in 9th and 10th standards.
